9 PAX came together on this gorgeous Thanksgiving morning for a little holiday travel before we began our busy family days. We had the pleasure of welcoming FiA-Cherokee Hairspray to our group this morning & we were excited to learn that she has family here, so we will hopefully get to spend more time with her!

We took full advantage of our location change and additional time. It was an absolutely gorgeous morning to travel around Hyde Lake, stopping at seven locations to do some extra cardio and ab work. At each stop our lovely nanny-tans called out a move to keep the blood flowing, while we waited for all to join and then we did five more reps as a group before moving on to a minute of cardio, followed by a minute of abs. We had four rucksacks to take along for an extra challenge and we took turns taking the 10lb & 20lb packs from stop to stop where they provided bonus weights for some of the moves.
Here are the moves:
* Tuck Jumps | V-ups
* Burpees | Russian Twists
* Step-ups | J-Los
* Speed Skaters | Alternating Straight-Leg Toe Touches
* Jumping Jacks | Awkward Turtles
* High Knees | Plank
*One Minute Wall Sit
From here, we moseyed back to the FedEx Event Center and, with everyone’s blessing to continue on even though our hour was up, we stared Sally while we waited for all PAX to join up & then finished it out together. I let everyone choose their move, so we had some incline merkins and some squats, but we all had a lot of burn! Finally, we did the Shoulder Blaster while on the move back to P2. We counted out loud to keep momentum up and ended right where we should.
Shoulder Blaster:
The key is to always keep arms up, never dropped below parallel position to the ground.
* 30 raise the roofs
* 30 arms overhead, thumbs up and touching at the top
* 30 arms going up, but thumbs pointed down
* 30 arms up, thumbs up touching behind neck at shoulders
* 30 arms up, thumbs pointed down to the small of back
*Count-o-rama*
*Name-o-rama*

I wanted to leave a verse and a thought on our hearts to begin our Thanksgiving mornings.
I read: Colossians 3:17
“Whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father.”
“Showing gratitude is one of the simplest, yet most powerful things humans can do for each other.”
I am extremely grateful for all of my FiA Sisters and for another year with some of you. I am also so thankful for all of the amazing ladies that we’ve had the pleasure of getting to know this year.
We prayed over our day and then enjoyed some awesome fellowship at our parking lot coffeeteria.
Announcements:
